Charlestown Wife and Husband Earn Art Kudos
Barbara and John Fahey Garner Watercolor, Acrylic and Photography Honors
CATONSVILLE, MD (August 11, 2015) -- Charlestown retirement community resident Barbara Fahey’s watercolor “Please Come Out and Play” (left image) and her acrylic “Kitty Found the Kitchen Table” (center image ) has won Honorable Mention Awards in this year’s Baltimore County Department of Aging “The Power of Age” Art Show.
The Art Show featured entries in seven different art categories ranging from woodwork to painting.
Her husband John Fahey’s sunset photograph of a migratory swan (right image) won First Place in the photography category of the summer Arbutus Senior Center Art Contest.

First Place winners in the 20 Baltimore County Senior Center Art Contests will be entered in the Baby Boomer/ Senior Expo Art Contest to be held on October 28 and 29 in the Maryland State Fair at the Timonium Fairgrounds.
