Charlestown Resident Pat Kasuda Goes "Undercover" for Staff Appreciation

She is Doing Whatever it Takes to Thank Staff for Their Exemplary Work

CATONSVILLE, MD (October 26, 2016) -- Charlestown retirement community resident Pat Kasuda, chair of this year's Staff Appreciation Fund Drive, has assumed the role of "Undercover Employee" to raise awareness of the fund that thanks hourly employees for their exemplary work.

Kasuda, who is a former healthcare administrator, will be doing some of what she has identified as Charlestown's most unknown and difficult jobs in the coming month."

"I will do anything to demonstrate the hard work done daily by our employees." she said. "They are so deserving of our annual giving program."

Residents of Charlestown retirement community last year contributed $242,506 to their campus’ Staff Appreciation Fund to show their appreciation to their hourly staff for jobs well done in 2015.

The money benefited 908 hourly staff members from all departments, including Dining Services, General Services and Health Services. This fundraising campaign among residents is done annually during the holiday season.
