Her Life Has Been Filled with God's Presence and Countless Blessings

CATONSVILLE MD (August 16, 2016) – Charlestown retirement community residents gathered August 2 in the Pastoral Care Office to celebrate Sister Eileen McKeever’s Golden Jubilee. This celebration marked 50 years since Sister first consecrated her life to ministry in the Catholic Church as a School Sister of Notre Dame (SSND).

Sister’s vocation was encouraged by her family and has presented her with many unique opportunities and challenges. During these 50 years, Sister Eileen has taught in the primary grades and pre-school, while later accepting the responsibilities of elementary school principal and director of a pre-school program.

She also worked as a Development Director, Director of Associates and immediately before coming to Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Sister served as a Provincial Councilor of the newly-formed Atlantic-Midwest province of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
