Charlestown Residents Contribute $262,000 to Thank Their Hourly Staff
Fundraising Drive Among Residents is Done Annually During the Holiday Season.

CATONSVILLE, MD (December 13, 2016) -- Residents of Charlestown retirement community contributed $262,000 to their campus’ Staff Appreciation Fund to show their appreciation to their hourly staff for jobs well done in 2016.
The money benefited 945 hourly staff members from all departments, including Dining Services, General Services and Health Services. This fundraising drive among residents is done annually during the holiday season.
Charlestown, which has nearly 2,200 residents, offers extensive wellness and prevention programs, balance assessment and fall prevention programs, and Fitness and Aquatics Center.
