Charlestown Sponsors Re-Enactments of Pivotal Moments in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Life
Friday, January 13, Event Features Acclaimed Black Storyteller/Historical Actor Bob Smith

Bob Smith, an acclaimed black storyteller/historical actor at Bob the Griot in Baltimore City, will come to Charlestown Retirement Community auditorium on Friday, January 13 (from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.) to re-enact pivotal moments in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and struggle to unite his country.
He will share stories during his interactive performances for and with 200 Charlestown residents and staff.
Smith has been a professional actor and storyteller since 1972. He has performed with Center Stage,Young Audiences of Maryland, and Arena Players.
