Charlestown's 25th Anniversary Art Show a Success
More Than 400 People Attend Two-Day Event
CATONSVILLE, MD -- More than 400 people attended the 25th Anniversary Charlestown Visual Art Show held May 20 and 21. The event featured artwork created by more than 27 resident and employee artists. Attendees enjoyed music, refreshments and magnificent art displays.
“Art Blooms at Charlestown” returned to the delight of all as members of the Charlestown Garden Club provided original floral interpretations of art pieces created by resident artists
Two resident artists -- Virginia Hammonds (seen left in photo) and Irene Hebert (seen right) -- were honored for helping to start the first Art Show decades ago. Carl Tongier is seen with them in the photo.
