Charlestown's Bert Clegern and Ann MacKay Inducted Into Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame

GLEN BURNIE, MD (October 27, 2016) Charlestown retirement community residents Robert Wayne "Bert" Clegern, Ph.D., and Ann M. MacKay today were inducted into the Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame.

They were honored for their volunteerism in a ceremony held at Michaels Eighth Avenue attended by hundreds of people.

Clegern volunteers with the Nature Trail Committee, the Charlestown Sluggers softball team (which he coaches), the Rotary Club of Catonsville Book Collection, the Field of Honor, and the Treasure Sale.

MacKay, who is the immediate past President of the Residents Council, leads the Apple Users Group and Website Committee.
