Charlestown Recruits Possible Employees from Among U.S. Military Veterans

BALTIMORE, MD -- Representatives from Charlestown retirement community's Human Resources Department June 1 recruited possible employees for Security, Dining and Health Services positions during a Veterans Job Fair held at M&T Bank Stadium.

Scores of potential candidates applied for Charlestown jobs during the three-hour event held under the auspices of RecruitMilitary. A total of 55 corporate exhibitors participated.

The 455 registered attendees included veterans from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Marines. United States Department of Defense civilians and spouses of veterans also attended.

Charlestown, which is managed by Erickson Living, employs more than 1,200 full and part-time workers.
