Follies Take Center Stage at Charlestown
Performance is Marked by Comedy, Music and Lots of Smiles
CATONSVILLE, MD (October 29, 2015) – Nearly 100 people attended a Follies variety show held October 9 in the continuing care neighborhood of Charlestown retirement community.
Residents, who performed for fellow residents, sang, played music, acted in comedy skits, and shared jokes. The top three performers won prizes.

Winning performers were Walt Hoffmeister, Chris Buppert and Eileen Fields
Richard Patras, Anne Kredell, MaryAnn Lombardo, and David Lombardo served as judges. Mary Clark and Fran Wode distributed prizes.
“Charlestown residents have a lot of talent and so much love,” said Program Assistant Kathleen Long, who arranged the Follies. “They enjoy sharing their special gifts. The event was like a was like family, and it was nice to see the smiles, joy and laughter.”
