Lauren Asghari Joins National Kidney Foundation of Maryland Board

IT talent firm founder brings 12 years of experience to healthcare nonprofit

LUTHERVILLE, Md. −The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland (NKF-MD) has elected Lauren Asghari to a three-year term on its board of directors.

Ashgari, who has participated in NKF-MD’s Kidney Walk events, founded and is the managing director of Alderson Loop. She began her 12-year technology and marketing consulting services career at a staffing company as the corporate contact for managed services projects across the country.

Later, she served leadership and executive roles for a Baltimore-based technology staffing company before establishing Alderson Loop, a provider of Information Technology talent throughout the Washington, DC metro area and the east coast.

A Johns Hopkins University alumna, Ashgari earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in management/entrepreneurship, followed by a master’s degree in communications. She resides with her husband and daughter in Oella.
