More Than 300 People Enjoy Charlestown's Grandparents Day Celebration

Family Fun Day Includes Entertainment, Food and Games

CATONSVILLE, MD (September 10, 2016) -- More than 300 people today attended Charlestown retirement community's 1st annual Grandparents Family Fun Day. Grandparents, residents, staff and guests enjoyed entertainment, food and games.

The event featured photos with Uncle Sam, entertainment by an Elvis Presley impersonator and a concert by the resident Brass Ensemble.

The resident B-Boopers sponsored craft sessions, jewelry making, coloring, and carnival games.

Guests were invited to swim and tour the resident-run model railroad display.

The event closed with a sing-along led by Uncle Sam, which included a group singing of "The National Anthem."
