"The Sorcerer" presented by Salem Players

“The Sorcerer” is Gilbert and Sullivan’s first full length operetta, which tells the story of an entire village that drinks a love potion with comical and disastrous results. As you might expect, the potion causes everyone in the village to fall madly in love with the first person they see and this, in turn, results in the pairing of several comically mismatched couples. Love potions certainly can be tricky...and funny as well!

Join Salem Players in the 38th season as they bring the show’s music and a colorful cast of characters to life!

Performances will be held on May 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th at 8 PM, as well as May 10th and 17th at 2 PM. Tickets are $15 for general admission, with a discounted $12 ticket available for students and seniors.
