Tin Cup Golf Tournament Nets More Than $28,000 for Charlestown Benevolent Care

A Total of 128 Residents and Staff, Combined, Participate

CATONSVILLE, MD (June 17, 2016) -- A total of 128 Charlestown residents and staff, combined, participated in this year's Tin Cup Golf Tournament. They raised net proceeds of more than $28,000 for the retirement community's Benevolent Care Fund.

The June 13 event was held at Rolling Road Golf Club in Catonsville. Winners were as follows:

-- 1st Place: Corporate Finance Team consisting of Todd Matthiesen, Chris Rathmann, Jim Walter, and John Hall with a winning score of 48 (-22). Each golfer won a $150 gift card to the Pro Shop at Rolling Road.

-- 2nd Place: St. Agnes Team consisting of Beau Higginbotham, Ryan McDermond, Quinn Hanna, and Christina DeRosa with a score of 53 (-17). Each golfer won a $75 gift card to the Pro Shop at Rolling Road.

Dean Michael won $2,500 in the 50/50 Raffle.
