The Write Way to Well-Being

Start your week right by writing your way to well-being. Try out affirmative writing, a writing approach for improving health and well-being

As over-giving service centered professionals, we have a lot on our minds. Our over-long to-do lists, our over-filled schedules and our over-flowing laundry baskets all keep us busy from the moment the alarm goes off until the moment we collapse into bed. But, my clients tell me, they sometimes lay awake worrying about things. Top among those are concerns about health and well-being, their own, and that of their loved ones.

I haven’t yet developed a magic cure-all health remedy. When I do, I’ll let you know! But I do have something that can help a lot - The Write Way to Well-Being. Research is showing us that the right approaches to writing can help us process and move forward from negative experiences, promote happiness and life satisfaction and improve physical health and emotional well-being.

This fall, I’m offering 3 free introductory workshops on the first Mondays of October, November and December, from 6:30-7:30 pm. You’re invited to bring a friend along and join us. Choose the date most convenient for you, and attend one session or all three. No worries about your writing - you won’t be sharing it or the content. If you want to you’ll have a chance to discuss your thoughts about the writing experiences.
