• Montgomery County Expanding Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Beacons (mocoshow.com) — New traffic signals and pedestrian beacons are being added across Montgomery County, including a signal near Rock Creek Forest Elementary in Chevy Chase that will affect many Chevy Chase Village commuters and families. The county has already installed several crossings and plans 26 more, aiming to cut serious crashes at intersections and on high-speed roads using proven safety technology.
