Metro Seeks Public Comments on Apartment Project at College Park Station
If the Metro Board approves, a private developer would begin construction next year.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Metro is inviting the public to provide feedback on a proposed apartment project on the east side of the College Park Metrorail Station as part of a transit-oriented joint development. The two multifamily residential buildings, with ground-floor retail space, would be built on the station's Park & Ride surface lot.
The joint development project would be constructed by a private developer and is anticipated to include two buildings with about 430 residential units, Metro said.
Feedback collected from the public will be provided to Metro's Board of Directors for final review and approval. If the project is approved, construction is projected to begin in 2018.
