Riverdale Woman Dies Crossing Train Platform
Prince George's County Police say a woman died from her injuries Monday when she was struck by a CSX train in College Park.

A Riverdale woman was killed Monday when she was struck by a CSX train at the College Park platform, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Rebecca Ruth Selleck of Sheridan Avenue in Riverdale.

Police were called to the station about 11 a.m. at the intersection of Calvert Road and Bowden Avenue for a pedestrian collision involving a train. Officers found Selleck suffering from critical injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the train was traveling from Baltimore to Columbus, Ohio. Authorities believe Selleck was attempting to cross the railway platform when she was struck.
