Man Convicted In Fatal Shooting Of Columbia Man (patch.com) — A Howard County jury has convicted Kennard Mekhi White in the December 2023 shooting that killed 18-year-old Jeremiah Isaiah Darden and wounded another young Columbia man in a Woodpark Lane apartment stairwell. Investigators tied White to the Columbia attack through video, phone records, and firearm evidence, and sentencing is set for Nov. 23.

The Howard County native joins two other Baltimore-area players in savoring a rare hometown-stage chance at one of senior golf's biggest amateur events.
