Columbia Association To Meet Sept. 26
The Columbia Association will meet Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. and discuss climate change and plastics.
COLUMBIA, MD — On Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. during the Columbia Association board meeting, there will be a discussion about climate change and plastics. Virginia Thomas, the Columbia Council representative for Oakland Mills and vice chair of the association's board, hopes to reduce or eliminate single-use plastic sources where possible.
Thomas shared that the Columbia Association's 2019 five-year strategic plan includes environmental sustainability as a strategic priority, along with other issues of importance to be highlighted.
