Columbia Association memberships now available for online purchase

Columbia Association (CA) is now offering memberships for sale online at its website, ColumbiaAssociation.org, a convenient option for anyone whose schedule may make it difficult to sign up over the telephone or in-person.

The entire transaction, including the ability to upload supporting documentation, may be done online. The options in the online portal reflect CA’s broad range of membership types.

The 11 memberships offered include the more comprehensive Package Plan and Package Plan Plus memberships; as well as individual club memberships to the Columbia Athletic Club, Columbia Gym and Supreme Sports Club fitness facilities; annual or weekday memberships to Fairway Hills Golf Club; annual or weekday memberships to Hobbit’s Glen Golf Club; a tennis membership; and a combined membership with the Columbia Swim Center and CA’s 23 outdoor pools.

The memberships offered online are based on non-resident rates. Customers who believe that they are eligible for lower rates or qualifying discounts based on residency status or income level may upload supporting documentation or bring the documents for verification to CA’s Membership Service Center. CA staff will inform customers within 48 hours whether their request for a discount has been accepted.

Signing up online should take no more than 10 minutes. Customers receive a confirmation email and temporary membership card that can be used to access the facilities specific to the membership they purchased. After the application and supporting documents are approved, customers will then get membership information and an ID card in the mail. New members will be asked to have their photographs taken upon their first visit to a CA facility.
