Columbia to Celebrate New Year's Eve with Fireworks Show
Symphony of Lights in Columbia will ring in 2017 with fireworks on Saturday, Dec. 31.

COLUMBIA, MD — Start the New Year early at Symphony of Lights in Columbia. The fireworks show takes place well before midnight so families can ring in 2017 without compromising bedtime at Merriweather Park.
Called "Midnight at 7," the event includes food vendors, fireworks and access to dozens of larger-than-life light displays along a 1.4-mile path. Doors open at 5 p.m. and fireworks begin at 7 p.m., weather permitting.
Admission is $20 for an individual and free for children ages 4 and younger. Tickets are $17 for groups of at least 10 people. Visitors are encouraged to register in advance to avoid long lines.

Parking is at the intersection of Broken Land Parkway and Little Patuxent Parkway.
