Columbia Crime: LPP Holdup, Window Knocker

The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Little Patuxent Parkway Thursday night.

At 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, he was returning to his car when two men, one armed with a gun, approached him and demanded money in the 12000 block of Little Patuxent Parkway.

The driver game them an undisclosed amount of money and the men left.

The suspects were described as 18 to 19-year-old black men. One was 5’10” tall, 170 pounds, had dark skin, a gray t-shirt and black pants. The second suspect was wearing a black mask, stood 5’ tall, had dark skin, medium build and was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.

There was an attempted burglary in the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Thursday.

A resident heard knocking on her bedroom window, and when a relative opened the blinds, there was a man outside the window. The man ran. He was described as an Hispanic man approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall with short hair wearing a brown shirt and a baseball hat.

Break-In on Brook Way

Two men were seen shoving items into their pants, then leaving in a getaway car from a burglary in the 5200 block of Brook Way.

At 3:51 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, the suspects broke into the residence through the front sliding glass door.

A neighbor saw them shoving things into their pants and a backpack before leaving.

The suspects were wearing beanie hats and black clothing.
