Columbia Jack and Jill Sets Up Reading Corner for Grassroots
Organization uses grant money to replace shelter furniture and establish library for children

The Columbia, MD Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. successfully applied for a nationwide Reading Corner grant of $3,000 from Jack and Jill of America Foundation and used the funds to replace furniture and establish a library in the family room at Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center in Columbia.
Representatives of Jack and Jill held a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony with refreshments for staff. Attending were (bottom row from l.)
