Free Snowball Fridays Offered At One HoCo Community Center
The free snowballs will be offered for one hour every Friday in July at one Howard County community center.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — To celebrate Park and Recreation Month, Howard County has announced that it will be offering free snowballs every Friday in July. Park and Recreation Month was started in 1985, and it's spearheaded by the National Recreation and Park Association to raise awareness of the benefits parks and recreation provide to the community.
One benefit this month in Howard County will be the icy treats available at the North Laurel Community Center, which also has a gym, aerobics studio, indoor basketball court, outdoor skate park, playground and other amenities for community use.
The North Laurel Community Center will give away free snowballs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Friday in July.
