Gunfire In Columbia Crimes Reported Twice This Week: Police
Both cases involving gunfire were on Cradlerock Way around the same time of day, according to authorities.

COLUMBIA, MD — Gunshots were fired in two crimes in Columbia in the past week, according to police. Neither resulted in injuries, but officials said one case did cause property damage.
Both incidents happened around 11 p.m. along Cradlerock Way.
In the most recent, shots were fired at two vehicles on Cradlerock Way at Frietchie Row around 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Police said there was property damage as a result of Monday night's malicious destruction of property.
About 0.3 mile away, another crime occurred on Cradlerock Way involving gunfire several days earlier.

Police said an armed man approached two victims on Cradlerock Way at Garland Lane around 11 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20.
He showed he had a handgun, took their cell phones and also took a jacket, according to authorities.
Then police allege the robber fired the weapon in the air before leaving.
The suspect was driving a tan pickup truck, authorities reported.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
