When is the last day of school in Howard County? School officials announced this month that a makeup day would be added to calendar.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The last day of school for students in Howard County public schools will be Wednesday, June 14, according to officials.
After schools were closed on March 14 due to inclement weather, the Howard County Public School System extended the school year by one day; previously, the last day was to be Tuesday, June 13.
School officials had to use one of the makeup days for inclement weather.

By Maryland law, students must be in school for 180 days each academic year.
