Lib's Grill Opens In Maple Lawn

FULTON, MD — There's a new place to dine in Maple Lawn, and the restaurant owners say that reservations are recommended. Lib's Grill officially opens to the public at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29.

The restaurant held an open house Thursday night with hors d'oeuvres but the full menu will make its debut Friday. The eatery serves American fare, with a seasonal menu that offers grill and raw bar items.

Some of the items on the menu include pineapple scallops, grilled brie, peppercorn and bourbon filet, fried brussels sprouts, shrimp Cobb salad and lobster mac and cheese, to name a few.

Lib's Grill in Maple Lawn is the second location by that name. The first opened in Perry Hall in 2013 and has gained acclaim in Baltimore County and beyond. Lib's Grill in Perry Hall was voted the state's favorite new restaurant in 2015 and Maryland's favorite restaurant in 2016 by the Restaurant Association of Maryland.

The grill is the sister business to Liberatore's, owned by the same family.

The Liberatore family runs eateries in Bel Air, Eldersburg, Perry Hall, Timonium and Westminster. With the exception of the Perry Hall restaurant, they are under the name of Liberatore's.

When the first and only other Lib's Grill opened in Perry Hall in 2013, owner Nick Liberatore told Patch the concept was an "approachable atmosphere" with a chef-inspired menu and vibrant bar scene.

Lib's Grill in Maple Lawn is at 8191 Maple Lawn Boulevard, Fulton, MD 20759. Reservations can be made on OpenTable or by calling 301-725-5427.

Check out the menu. Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
