Missing In Maryland: 9 People Have Disappeared

Do you recognize any of these people? They are missing in Maryland.

MARYLAND — This week multiple people have been reported missing across Maryland. One disappeared from a shelter and said she would return but has not. Two missing persons suffer from cognitive disorders.

If you have information, please call 911 or the police department listed with the person's case.

Edward Philson, 58, is missing in Baltimore and suffers from dementia, police reported on Oct. 12. When last seen in the 600 block of George Street, he may have been wearing gray sweatpants and a gray jacket. He is described as 5-feet-6-inches tall and 200 pounds. Omari Bailey, 13, was last seen in Silver Spring on Thursday, Oct. 11. He was wearing a black/gray camouflage sweatshirt with "Adidas" in red letters on the front and black jeans with black Nike sneakers. He is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Call the Montgomery County Police Department's Special Victims Investigations Division at 301-279-8000 or 911.


Kaliyah Nicole Wright, 15, has been missing from Columbia since Wednesday, Oct. 3. Although she is believed to have left home in the 5900 block of Harpers Farm Road on her own volition, when she did not return by Friday, Oct. 5, a family member notified police. Wright is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall and 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Call 911 or the Howard County Police Department at 410-313-2615.

Candice Martina Reece, 41, was last seen leaving her Bethesda residence on Cordell Avenue around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Her last known location was in Olney on Monday, Oct. 8. Reece is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall and 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Melissa Caruso, 59, is described as a "critical missing" person because she suffers from cognitive disorders and requires medication. She wandered out of a facility in the 3400 block of Callaway Avenue between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7. She is described as 5-feet-1-inch tall and 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket. Call 911 or the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.


Terrence Woods, 27, of Prince George's County, disappeared while filming a documentary in Idaho. He was part of a team producing a film about gold mines in the area when he was reported missing at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, according to the Idaho County Sheriff's Office. After days of searches including dog teams, helicopters, ATVs and thermal imaging technology did not yield any signs of Woods, the sheriff's office reported it "cut back the active search" on Thursday, Oct. 11. "No leads were obtained from the previous seven days of searching, and no signs of Mr. Woods have been located in the search area or the expanded search area," officials reported. Bernadette Arrington, 49, left the Laytonsville Haven Shelter on Aug. 10 and said she would return in a couple of days. In late August, shelter staff members spoke with her by phone, and she said she would return to the shelter at 5834 Riggs Road. Since she has not come back and has been unreachable, authorities say they are concerned about her emotional and physical well-being. She is described as 5-feet-3-inches tall and 145 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Nikki Roberts, 31, has a tattoo on her back that says ā€œForgive me.ā€ Call Detective Alexander of the Aberdeen Police Department at 410-272-2121.


Semaj Aisha Jack, 23, was last seen when a family member dropped her off at Mondawmin Mall in Baltimore on Saturday, Aug. 25. She was in touch with her family in early September but since then, relatives have been unable to contact her.
