Person Rescued on Route 100 Ramp: HoCo Officials

An individual was trapped in a vehicle on MD 100 near Snowden River Parkway Thursday morning, Howard County Fire and Rescue reported.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD -- A person was rescued Thursday morning from a crash on the ramp from MD 100 to Snowden River Parkway, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

A vehicle had reportedly turned on its side along the ramp from eastbound MD 100 to Snowden River Parkway before 7:30 a.m.

The ramp was closed from approximately 7:30 to 8 a.m. so first responders could get to the victim, officials said.

By 8 a.m., the person who had been trapped inside the vehicle had been rescued and was “in good condition,” fire and rescue officials reported.

The ramp had reopened as of 8 a.m.
