PNC Bank Robbed in Owen Brown, Reward Offered for Suspect Info: Police

The Howard County Police Department is offering up to $1,500 for information about a bank robbery on Cradlerock Way.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department is offering a reward after a bank was robbed inside a Columbia grocery store Thursday evening.

At 7:10 p.m., police said a man walked into the PNC Bank inside Giant in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied, and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

This at least the second time this particular PNC Bank branch was robbed this year; police previously said a robbery had occurred there on April 16.

There is a reward of up to $1,500 for suspect information in the Sept. 22 case.

The suspect was described as a black man in his late 20s who was about 5'9" tall, thin and was wearing a blue Texas Rangers hat, black frame glasses, a gray long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
