Route 32 Crash Sends Three to Hospital: Police
One person suffered injuries that were believed to be life-threatening, Howard County police said.

JESSUP, MD — Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured three people, including one who is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to the Howard County Police Department. Due to the collision, police said MD 32 east was shut down in the area of US 1 until further notice.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on MD 32 near Dorsey Run Road, police said.
Preliminarily, officials said one single-occupant car rear-ended another car and sideswiped a third vehicle.

The two people in the rear-ended vehicle were taken to Howard County General Hospital, one with injuries that were believed to be life-threatening and the other with less serious injuries, police reported.
Two people in the sideswiped vehicle were not injured, police said.

The person driving the single-occupant vehicle was taken to Howard County General with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Details were still being confirmed regarding the vehicles and the circumstances of the collision. Eastbound MD 32 was closed at US 1 for police investigation.
