School Closing Update from Howard County Public Schools
With snow covering Howard County roads, school system makes decision about Monday.

Public schools and school offices are closed on Monday, Jan. 25, the Howard County Public School System announced Sunday.
Evening activities at schools—including athletic practices and games as well as community-sponsored events—are canceled on Monday, according to the announcement.
No decision has been made regarding Tuesday.

This is the second snow day for Howard County students related to the blizzard that hit over the weekend; school was also canceled on Friday, Jan. 22.
Some parts of the county received more than 2 feet of snow between Friday and Sunday.

There were snow drifts in excess of 8 feet in parts of western Howard County, government officials reported Sunday morning.
