Snow Pushes Back Curbside Collection in Columbia

As the result of inclement weather, Howard County curbside collections will be delayed for the rest of the week.

There was no curbside pickup for trash, recycling, compost and yard waste on Tuesday due to snow.

Now, all pickups have been moved back one day to make up for it.

Collections may occur between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will be one day later than usual.

Receptacles must be free of snow and ice; workers will not dig them out for residents.
