Tractor Trailer Overturns in Columbia: Police

The Howard County Police Department asked drivers to avoid the area of Snowden River Parkway at MD 175 for several hours Friday.

A tractor trailer overturned on Snowden River Parkway, and as a result, two southbound lanes were closed, police said. The incident was first reported by WTOP shortly after 9:15 a.m.

Nobody was injured in the crash, according to police.

There was a fuel spill associated with the overturned vehicle, WNEW reported.

By approximately 12:35 p.m., police said Snowden River Parkway was open in both directions.
