CWES Students "D.I.G." Math and Arts

Crofton Woods Elementary School hosted the annual Art & Math D.I.G. Day -- a day designed to help children Discover, Integrate, and Grow.

Crofton Woods Elementary School held its annual D.I.G. day this week, with children from all grades and several parent volunteers and teachers participating in a variety of math and art related activities.

D.I.G. Day, which stands for Discover, Integrate, and Grow,  is designed to tap into children's creativity while making learning fun," said CWES Principal John Barzal.

Some of the activities included designing mosaics, making pattern bead bracelets, learning Chinese jumprope routines, creating stained glass and Fibanacci spiral designs, solving pentomino and toothpick puzzles, and much more.
