Donations sought for Used Book and Media Sale

Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church in Crofton is seeking donations of books, DVDs, CDs, computer/video games, etc. for its annual Used Book and Media Sale. Donations can be left in the large beige bin on the church’s front porch, 1657 Crofton Parkway, Crofton, 21114 through April 17th. Donation receipts are available. Please, no encyclopedias, magazines, or Reader’s Digest condensed books.

The sale itself – with thousands of books from a wide variety of categories – will be held on Friday, April 24th, 6 – 9 pm, and Saturday, April 25th, 9 am – 2 pm. On Saturday, there will also be a yard sale and bake sale on the church grounds.

Proceeds from the sale support the Mission and Outreach Ministry of Prince of Peace. Local programs supported by this ministry include Sarah’s House, the Light House Shelter, the Crofton Christian Caring Council, and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake.
