Military Member Treats Starbucks Customers to $200 in Coffee
An unknown woman in uniform told Hanover Starbucks employees to use the $200 on her gift card to buy coffee and treats for others.

A military member bought $200 worth of coffee and snacks Tuesday for customers of the Starbucks shop at Arundel Mills Shopping Center.
Employees of the coffee shop in Hanover told WNEW that a woman in uniform asked to recharge her gift card with $200. She then gave the card to the Starbucks works and instructed them to use the $200 to pay for any purchases made by customers until the money was depleted.
Starbucks employees said the unidentified woman wasn’t a regular customer.

Just last month a military mom was the recipient of an act of pay-it-forward kindness, Patch reported.
Irona Thompson, a Baltimore County woman, received a special surprise during a Baltimore Orioles game against the Rays. Irona’s daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jordan Woodland, Baltimore natives and active-duty military members stationed abroad, appeared on the jumbotron and surprised her with a special message.
The surprise is through AT&T Military Messages, a partnership between AT&T and the Orioles. Each Sunday, the AT&T Military Messages program treats a lucky military family to a game (arriving under false pretenses) and a surprise shout-out from their loved one overseas.
