Officer's Death: Murder Charges Reinstated Against 2 Brothers

Second-degree murder charges against two brothers accused of doing nothing to stop a third brother from starting a gunfight that led to a police officer’s death can be reinstated, a Prince George’s County judge ruled Wednesday.

Michael DeAndre Ford, 22, of Landover is accused of shooting at police in a "suicide by cop attempt" last month, sparking a gunfight in which a Prince George’s County Police Officer Jacai Colson died from a bullet fired by a fellow law officer. >>> Read more.

Bank Robbery Report Leads to Police Crash, Search of Towson Mall

A report of a bank robbery in Towson Wednesday morning prompted a pursuit that involved a police car crash, a search through Towson Town Center and three people being taken into custody, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

One Killed in Davidsonville Crash: Officials

A 19-year-old Upper Marlboro man died Monday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Route 50 in Davidsonville, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

The first caller to 9-1-1 just said that an ambulance was needed and hung up. As units were responding, additional 9-1-1 callers reported that the emergency was an auto accident with a person trapped in the vehicle. >>> Read more.
