• Cunningham Falls Reopens Following Rabid Beaver Attacks, Portions of Seneca Creek Remain Closed (mocoshow.com) — Parts of Seneca Creek State Park near Darnestown remain closed while officials monitor for further beaver activity after a rabid beaver attack earlier this month. While Cunningham Falls State Park has fully reopened, Darnestown-area residents should expect continued closures at the Berryville area, Route 28 parking lot, and nearby river access points, and keep a safe distance from wildlife when visiting any local parks.
