Students at General John Stricker Middle School celebrated Music in Our Schools month by decorating musical notes demonstrating why they liked music, how music makes them feel, and what they have learned in music. Music in Our Schools month has been celebrated each March since 1985. The National Association for Music Education sponsors the celebration in order to raise awareness of the benefits of quality music education programs in our schools around the country.
