The Little Sisters of the Poor will host their 10th annual Gala – Celebrating the Gift. The event is Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Turf Valley, 2700 Valley Road, Ellicott City. Proceeds from this event go directly to pay our winter fuel costs at St Martin’s Home which in 2012 and 2013 averaged $30,000 a month.
Enjoy our “Celebrity Chef” culinary twist to the evening featuring recipes by our Archdiocesan priests – Rev. Louis A. Bianco, Rev. Patrick Carrion, Rev. Gerard Francik, and Fr. Donald Grzymski, OFM Conv. Our honoree, Archbishop William E. Lori, is guest speaker. Be ready for some spirited bidding on our food-themed silent and live auction items along with a Wall of Champagne, Pearls in Oysters and taste testing opportunities.
