Child Victim Home after Eastwood Dog Attack
The 20-month-old girl was treated at Johns Hopkins for eye injuries.

The victim of a recent dog attack in Eastwood is home from the hospital, according to Fox 45.
The toddler who was bitten by a pit bull-beagle mix nearly lost an eye after the dog dragged her across a room, Fox 45 reported.
The March 10 incident occurred at a family friend's home on the 7200 block of Conley Street.

From Eastwood, the victim was flown by helicopter to Johns Hopkins Children's Center for treatment, where she received stitches for eye injuries.
Within days, Baltimore County Animal Control euthanized the dog.

As of March 20, charges have not been filed against Mark Southard, the man who, according to WBAL, was the dog's owner. The dog reportedly bit the toddler without provocation.
