Dundalk Promotes Defensive Coordinator to Head Football Coach
Sean Sandora will attempt to build on the program's recent success.

promoted defensive coordinator Sean Sandora to head football coach to fill the position left vacant when Mike Downes resigned following the end of the season.
Sandora, a standout football player at Salisbury University, was a three-year starter at defensive back as well as a two-year team captain.
After finishing his undergraduate work, Sandora spent time as a graduate assistant at Salisbury. He then became the defensive coordinator at Mt. Hebron High School before accepting a teaching and football coaching position at Dundalk under Downes.

“Sean has shown us that he’s a role model for student athletes at Dundalk, and a leader of young men,” said Owl Athletic Director Justin Nash. “We look forward to having him build a championship program on the field and in the classroom.”
