📰 News we're reading

• Residents tell Baltimore County to reject large data centers (wypr.org) — Baltimore County is weighing new rules and a possible extended moratorium on large data centers, and at least one Dundalk resident fears her community could be a prime target site. Dozens of residents packed a planning board hearing to warn about power, water, noise, and pollution impacts, while county officials outlined potential restrictions, fees, and studies before any facilities could be approved. A council vote on extending the moratorium is set for Sept. 21.
