Weather Alert for Several Maryland Counties

The National Weather Service has extended a Coastal Flood Advisory for parts of Maryland:

A coastal flood advisory remains in effect through midday Thursday for the Washington, D.C., area, as well as western Chesapeake Bay from Baltimore City to St. Mary’s County. Expected impacts include minor shoreline inundation. A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.

Areas impacted are:

· Baltimore City and County

· Baltimore City

· Harford County

· Prince George’s County

· Anne Arundel County

· DC
