2 Harwood Men Charged In Stabbing, Annapolis Man Wanted For Attempted Murder
A fight in Edgewater has two Harwood men in jail, and police searching for an Annapolis man accused of stabbing a man.
EDGEWATER, MD — An Annapolis man is being sought by police for attempted murder following a stabbing in Edgewater that sent one man to an area trauma unit. Two Harwood men are in custody for the attack, say Anne Arundel County Police, who are still trying to determine what led to the dispute and fight.
A caller to 911 Thursday afternoon told police dispatchers that his friend had been stabbed and that they were driving to a hospital. The dispatcher told the driver pull over near Solomons Island Road and Mitchells Chance Road, where they were met by police and fire department personnel. Inside the vehicle, officers located a 20-year-old man suffering from four stab wounds to his abdomen.
Investigators say the victim and suspects agreed to meet in the 300 block of Millswamp Road in Edgewater to fight over a long-standing dispute. During the fight, one suspect used a knife to stab the victim. Two other men allegedly kicked and punched the victim during the fight.

Fire department personnel took the stabbing victim to Maryland Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested one suspect identified as Steven Alphonso Creek Jr., 19, of Harwood, and Brandon Louis-Downs, 18, of Harwood turned himself into authorities on Friday. Suspect John David Talbot, 20, of Annapolis, is still wanted on a warrant for the assault.

The suspects and the charges they face are:
- Creek is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment
- Louis-Downs is charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault
- Talbott is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, carrying/wearing a weapon with intent to injure, and reckless endangerment.
