A woman hurt Sunday when her bicycle crashed in Edgewater suffered possibly life-threatening injuries, authorities said.The accident happened about 4:45 p.m. near Solomons Island Road and Pike Ridge Road, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.Witnesses told rescue workers that a 57-year-old woman was thrown from her bike after striking a curb.The patient was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter with injuries that may be life-threatening.Officials have not released the woman's name.
