Blessing Bikes, Thanking Troops at Stan and Joe’s

Motorcycle enthusiasts gathered at Stan and Joe’s in Edgewater on Sunday for a Blessing of the Bikes. They also raised money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Joe McGovern, co-owner of Stan & Joe’s, said the event was a success. The annual event is done with a local chapter of Hogs for Heroes, an organization of motorcycle riders that is committed to supporting public safety officials, the U.S. Military and Wounded Warriors.

McGovern shared a video of the event with Patch. In the video, he summed up the blessing of the bikes in simple words:

“God bless you. God bless America. And God bless Stan and Joe's,” McGovern said.
