Churchton Bank of America Closing

The Churchton Bank of America will be closing its doors this summer.

The banking center located at 5554 Muddy Creek Rd. will close permanently on June 7, according to the bank’s website.  A reason for the close was not provided.

The Churchton bank recently made headlines when it was robbed on March 14. However, there is no reason to believe the robbery and the closing are related.

Bank of America is directing customers to other locations once the Churchton center closes. The closest Bank of America locations are at 3224 Solomons Island Rd. in Edgewater, and in Calvert County at 2995 Plaza Dr. in Dunkirk.
