County Raids Net 5 Arrests, Thousands in Drugs Seized

Anne Arundel County narcotics officers raided three locations this week, arresting five people and seizing drugs worth thousands.

Five people in Crofton, Glen Burnie and Stoney Beach were arrested on drug trafficking charges this week in three raids by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Three people were arrested Wednesday after police executed a search warrant at 1675 Yorktown Court in Crofton. Authorities seized marijuana, crack cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms with a total estimated value of $2,600, along with three handguns.

The suspects arrested on multiple drug offenses are:

  • Leah Marie MacDonald, 21, of 2334 Columbine Court in Gambrills, for multiple counts of unlawful possession of regulated firearm, multiple counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, CDS possession with intent to distribute and various CDS offenses.
  • Stephen Joseph Eagney, 20, of 1675 Yorktown Court in Crofton, who was charged with two counts of CDS possession not marijuana and CDS possession of paraphernalia.
  • Kyle Paul Eagney, 23, of 1675 Yorktown Court, in Crofton, was charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a regulated firearm, multiple counts of unlawful possession of ammunition, CDS possession with intent to distribute and other drug offenses.

Also on Wednesday, officers executed a narcotics search warrant at 1315 Cox Cove Court in Stoney Beach, where several kids of prescription drugs were seized worth an estimated $12,000. Detectives also seized a semi-automatic rifle, a .12-gauge shotgun, $6,453 in cahs and a 2006 Mitsubishi.

The resident, Christopher Lloyd Triggs, 28, was charged with 20 drug crimes, including possessing numerous prescription drugs, along with marijuana, drug paraphernalia and firearms.

In the third raid, police executed a search and seizure warrant Tuesday at 428 Pamela Road, Apartment C, in Glen Burnie. A resident at the address, Juan Cecil William McCauley, was the focus of an ongoing drug investigation. During a search of the apartment, police found drugs worth an estimated $35,000, along with almost $5,000 in cash.

McCauley, 29, was charged with 11 drug charges tied to possession and intent to distribute narcotics.
